A Preferente Class on the Elipsos overnight includes a reserved single compartment with a private bed and washbasin. Your compartment is equipped with a thermostat and magnetic keycard for added security plus extra room for your luggage. You’ll receive a welcome pack including water & toiletries and don’t de-board hungry - breakfast is included.

Most fine hotels have a great restaurant, and the Elipsos overnight is no exception. With a Preferente ticket your breakfast is included and enjoyed in the restaurant car. This sleek and stylish car is where your dinner can be purchased as well, a gourmet restaurant on wheels with fresh food and seasonal menu rotations that take advantage of the local abundance. Dinner is available till the restaurant closes at 1:00 am and there’s linen, silverware and china, elegant at every meal. Of course, there’s bottled water in your welcome pack, but when you’re ready for a more spirited drink, you’ll find the restaurant waiting.
On Board Services
On board services for the Preferente Single and a Preferente Double include a private sleeping compartment with a washbasin and enough room for your luggage, a private key card for security, breakfast, a cabin thermostat, toiletries and water. There’s a restaurant and the possibility to book adjoining/connecting rooms for families on this smoke-free train.
Services at the station
Station services offered with Preferente tickets include lounge access in Madrid Charmartin and Valladolid stations 2 hours prior to the train departure, luggage storage at the station, a refreshing bottle of water, and free parking for 24 hours (one-way) or 48 hours (RT) at Barcelona and Madrid stations.
