Overview

The Eurail Bulgaria Pass gives you unlimited travel on the national rail network of Bulgaria, with your choice of first or second class travel for 3, 4, 5 or 8 days of rail travel within a one-month period. You can also decide whether you’d prefer those travel days to be consecutive or non-consecutive. The Eurail Bulgaria Pass is like a time machine, perfect for traveling through this Balkan gem that has, since ancient times, been a major crossroad for Europe, Asia and Africa. It’s this diversity that makes a rail pass even more of a convenience since you pay, book and schedule in your own language, English, while also avoiding the stress of local ticket lines, airports, and high cost of driving.

Why not start with a ride to Orehovo, chosen by National Geographic as the most picturesque of Bulgarian villages. Or visit the spectacular Kazanluk Tomb, dated to the late 4th-early 3rd century B.C.— one of many Bulgarian attractions on the UNESCO List of World Heritage sites ? If you prefer pampering, take Bulgaria’s rail to over 50 welcoming spa towns. How about a lift to Bansko, considered to be the most developed ski and winter resort in all of Eastern Europe ? Last, but not least, is Sophia, Bulgaria, the country’s capital and largest city, located at the foot of Mount Vitosha.

Whatever century you choose to investigate, there’s one great way to see them all : with a Eurail Bulgaria Pass from Rail Europe. After all, authentic travel experiences will always be timeless.
