Q. Why are some printing options unavailable for some products which are sold on TrainTicket.com ?
A. It depends on the train routes that you have chosen. Globally you can choose one of the three printing options available : "Print @ home", "Print @ the station" or Regular Paper tickets. Regular Paper tickets are always available for choice. However the first two methods are not always available. For the moment "Print @ home" is only available for Eurostar, ATOC and and all trains departing from and within France (domestic and international trains such as Thalys, TGV Lyria etc.). The "Print @ Home" option is only offered if the booking includes a Eurostar, Thalys, French Journeys or Spanish trains.

Q. What is needed to retrieve an e-ticket from a terminal ?
A. To retrieve an e-ticket, you will need to enter your booking reference in the self service ticket terminal found at train stations. You can found the reference in your booking summary. In France, you will need to enter your family name as well.

A. Book a room with 3 beds. If none is available you can book for a T4 (4 beds) or a T6 (6 beds).div>

Q. What are the classes of service which are offered on the ICE train ?
A. Two classed of service are offered on board the ICE trains – First class and standard class. If you are travelling in First class, you can have individual video screens, power sockets for portable devices and DVD players. ICE trains have quiet zones for those who prefer to travel without any noise disturbance.

Q. How to make a booking for four passengers who want to share a room ?
A. You can choose a T4. If none is available you can choose 2 double compartments.

Q. Is there a check-in before the departure of a Lyria train ?
A. No. There is no check-in before departure. However rail officials will control your ticket during the journey. Make sure you have all your valid travel documents with you while on board a TGV Lyria.

Q. How can I get a railway map ?
A. Travel maps are provided with Multiple Country Passes or with some of Single Country Passes. Travel Maps are available for free on our website. The online travel maps will help you plan your journey.

Q. Do ICE trains have a catering service ?
A. Yes. ICE trains have a Bordbistro and/or a Bordrestaurant. You have a variety of breakfast menus and main dishes. The menu often offers German and regional specialities which are freshly prepared. The Bordbistro has snacks and a wide selection of drinks. If you are travelling in First class on board ICE trains, you can have your meal delivered at your seat.

A. The Lyria First class includes comfortable reclyning seats as well as food and beverages, available at the bar-buffet car.
