Overview

France-Spain High Speed Train

What does the most popular travel destination in Europe and one of its geographically largest countries have in common ? A singular great way to travel : the France - Spain High Speed train. SNCF and RENFE have combined their experience to offer the first high speed trains between France and Spain. This new SNCF-RENFE cooperation offers service between 17 cities in France and Spain including Paris, Lyon and Marseille to Barcelona, and Marseille to Madrid. It’s not just the great cities it connects that make it special, but how quickly it connects them. Go from Paris to Barcelona in just 6 hours, 25 minutes. Barcelona to Lyon takes just under 5 hours, and it makes Barcelona to Marseille possible in 4 hours, 17 minutes. On the France-Spain High Speed train, you can pirouette from Barcelona to Toulouse in just over 3 hours, or leave the bull behind going from Madrid to Marseille in 7 hours, 3 minutes.

Trains to Paris will be Euroduplex cars— double-decker train cars traveling at almost 200 mph. Trains to Toulouse, Lyon & Marseille will be almost as fast, with refurbished wooden parquet and leather seats in 1st class.

Family-friendly economy class is also available. Regardless of train, you’ll find a power outlet near your seat, which seems most fitting. Not only will you have the opportunity to recharge the batteries of your electronics, but your own…with nothing to do but enjoy yourself, the passing landscapes, and the company. Book your France-Spain High Speed train ticket with Rail Europe. You’ll see it’s simply perfect, and perfectly simple.

"The train trip was very nice, relaxing and the scenery was beautiful. The food onboard is just a bit expensive. The comfort of the seats could be better, but definitely much better than flying and much more convenient saving a lot of time, only have to be there 30 min before. "

    Nice experience |
"The train was delay one hour and half. We were on the seats in the lower part, and the view was walls, trees, nothing to be amazed. It was not the landscape that i thought it will be. So, in my opinion, i'll not take it again. It's not bad, i expected more, maybe if you go on the first floor it's a better experience. "

"Excellent Experience. Great ride. Smooth and comfortable. Only complaint : Had 4 teenagers sit next to us and play music at an elevated level. When asked to turn down they complied but only for a little while but then turned it back up. Was glad to see them get off the train at the next stop. Overall great experience and would travel again.
