Win a Trip for Two to London and Paris with Rail Europe's Eurostar Sweepstakes

To encourage agents to learn more about the exciting changes coming to Eurostar's high-speed train service this fall, Rail Europe - Eurostar's official North American distributor -- has launched a sweepstakes this summer with a grand prize of a trip for two to London and Paris.

The changes to Eurostar's service include 20 minutes faster journey times between downtown London and downtown Paris or Brussels (currently 2 hr and 35 min to Paris and 2hr 20 min to Brussels), switching the London station to St. Pancras International from Waterloo International, and the opening of the UK's first high-speed rail tracks (HS1). All this will happen November 14 this year.

To be eligible to win the Grand Prize, agents must correctly answer three rounds of questions about Eurostar which are posted on Rail Europe's agent Web site, . Agents can answer each set of questions as often as they wish. To enter an agent must be a US resident.

The first round of questions will be posted between now and July 22. The second round will be posted July 23-August 25, and the third round August 26-October 1. Questions are posted for 5 weeks, starting the first day of each round, but will not be available after the closing date of each round.

The Grand Prize trip for two - awarded at the conclusion of the three rounds -- includes transatlantic flight, three nights hotel accommodations each in London and Paris, and Leisure Select (1 st class) one-way tickets on Eurostar connecting the two cities

In addition to the Grand Prize, there will be prizes for winners of each round of questions, including roundtrip Eurostar Leisure Select (1 st class) tickets between London-Paris on the new high speed line, and luxury gift baskets.

More than 75 million travelers have ridden Eurostar since the launch of service in 1994. Agent commission starts at 5% for electronic bookings.
