The ride along is spectacular. The wines and food were amazing and we learned a lot of interesting facts about wine making. It was definitively worth the price. Highly recommend it!!

My wife and I booked this tour as a last minute addition to our visit to Florence. It was an excellent tour! Our guide, Kayko was very kind and her dry sense of humour was perfect for the trip. We were scheduled to be away for about fine hours but it took 7 1/2 hours to complete which was just fine with us. The flexible schedule allowed for a bit more time at each stop and enabled a group of older people time to walk with us and not be left behind. The two vineyards we visited were well chosen and way too much fun. The bus ride through Tuscany was worth the price alone. We had a great day and I would recommend this tour to others. Don't may firm dinner reservations as you may not be back in time......other than that, go have fun.

Half day turns into night. 1330 till 2030 visiting 2 wineries with lavish tastings and explanations of the true Chianti Classico. Wonderful scenery of the tuscan countryside and a visit to a UNESCO town. Now back in Aus I am looking for the black chook.

We enjoyed our 1/2 day in the Chianti region. The high point was definitely the second vineyard. Our sommelier taught us how to taste wine and how it should be presented with food. He was funny and informative. Beautiful country- worth the trip if you can fit it in.

I definitely recommend this tour! We went to 2 different wineries and got to also walk around and see 2 small Italian villages in between. worth the money to see a small piece of Tuscany on a budget. the tour says half day but it was more like a full 7 hour day from 1:15-8.

This Chianti Half-Day Wine Tour was so much fun! The two wineries we went to had excellent wine. We especially loved the wine at the second winery. The food pairings at both wineries were also fantastic... the most delicious cheeses, olive oils, and truffle oils we've tasted. We learned a lot of history about the wineries and the wine making process and both individuals at each winery were very knowledgeable about their craft. We stopped at two small towns, one after each winery, and it was nice to get to walk around for a bit and explore a little bit of the towns. Our tour guide on the trip was also great she was very friendly, informative, and spoke good English. The tour bus we rode on for the tour was comfortable, although I will say we wish the AC was working a little better. Overall, this was a great tour and a fun and fantastic experience. We would high recommend this tour. Love live Black Rooster!

We met our tour guide by the main train station to take a bus to two wineries. At each winery we tasted about four different red wines, which were delicious and much better than the wine we buy at home. Each winery provided some cheese, bread, and wonderful balsamic vinegar that they also produced at the winery. Of course, we bought some wine to bring home too. They both gave you the option to ship the wines home for you. The second winery was smaller and even gave us a taste of one of their best red wines which cost 75 euros if bought at the winery. Loved the tour. My only complaint was that it ended a little late, as it did last about 7 hours and returned around 8:30, which required us to cancel our dinner reservations and get something back at our hotel by time we returned at 9 PM.

We had a fabulous time on our half-day wine tour from Florence. . The countryside was beautiful! Bus ride was great! The driver maneuvered the twists and turns of Tuscany like a champ! Only criticism about the bus was that although it had advertised air-conditioned bus, the front of the bus on the upper level was very warm. Both wineries were splendid and very entertaining. The combination of both with two different experiences made this tour special. We did stop in an adorable town for a bit to do some shopping. The town was cute and the shops were quaint, but I came to realize later that it was somewhat of a tourist trap, as I thought I was purchasing something original to the area and realized a few days later that the piece I had purchased was also offered at a shop in Roma for 15 cheaper. That was my only disappointment but I guess had not much to do with the tour...just the village where they stopped. The tour guide was very informative and spoke in both English and Italian. The scenery was spectacular! One of the highlights of our trip to Florence!

This tour what a highlight during our time in Florence. They took us in a bus up to a castle and we toured around. After the tour we all sat down for a snack and wine tasting. I believe we tasted 4-5 wines. It was definitely a fun day, and beautiful beautiful views!

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. The bus ride is very comfortable and has amazing views (we sat on upper deck to take it all in). The first stop has a bunch of tastings but no tour while the second vineyard has both which we enjoyed. There were other stops with free time as well.

This was the best tour EVER!!! Afterwards, we went into town and then bought all kinds of bread, meat and cheese and the wine from the vineyard, then we had dinner in our hotel. I would definitely do this again. The wine and food was great. Lots of fun.

Great tour! Two good wineries, really neat meat and cheese shop in Greve in Chianti. Our tour guide was very informative and fun. She talked about the culture, the land and the wine making process. Worth the money and the time. Both wineries will ship wine to the US and give you a variety of tastings.
