Avis Clients :
great experience great tour guide
We met our tour guide by the main train station to take a bus to two wineries. At each winery we tasted about four different red wines, which were delicious and much better than the wine we buy at home. Each winery provided some cheese, bread, and wonderful balsamic vinegar that they also produced at the winery. Of course, we bought some wine to bring home too. They both gave you the option to ship the wines home for you. The second winery was smaller and even gave us a taste of one of their best red wines which cost 75 euros if bought at the winery. Loved the tour. My only complaint was that it ended a little late, as it did last about 7 hours and returned around 8:30, which required us to cancel our dinner reservations and get something back at our hotel by time we returned at 9 PM.
This trip was a lot of fun! The wine tasting was great and the stops at the small towns were very nice! We also had a beautiful view of the sunset over the mountains on our drive back which was incredible!
We had a fabulous time on our half-day wine tour from Florence. . The countryside was beautiful! Bus ride was great! The driver maneuvered the twists and turns of Tuscany like a champ! Only criticism about the bus was that although it had advertised air-conditioned bus, the front of the bus on the upper level was very warm. Both wineries were splendid and very entertaining. The combination of both with two different experiences made this tour special. We did stop in an adorable town for a bit to do some shopping. The town was cute and the shops were quaint, but I came to realize later that it was somewhat of a tourist trap, as I thought I was purchasing something original to the area and realized a few days later that the piece I had purchased was also offered at a shop in Roma for 15 cheaper. That was my only disappointment but I guess had not much to do with the tour...just the village where they stopped. The tour guide was very informative and spoke in both English and Italian. The scenery was spectacular! One of the highlights of our trip to Florence!
This tour what a highlight during our time in Florence. They took us in a bus up to a castle and we toured around. After the tour we all sat down for a snack and wine tasting. I believe we tasted 4-5 wines. It was definitely a fun day, and beautiful beautiful views!
My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. The bus ride is very comfortable and has amazing views (we sat on upper deck to take it all in). The first stop has a bunch of tastings but no tour while the second vineyard has both which we enjoyed. There were other stops with free time as well.
This was the best tour EVER!!! Afterwards, we went into town and then bought all kinds of bread, meat and cheese and the wine from the vineyard, then we had dinner in our hotel. I would definitely do this again. The wine and food was great. Lots of fun.
One of the best trips I took with Viator!! We saw lots, wine and nibbles included, fantastic way to see another portion of Italy!
My entire family really enjoyed this tour of the Tuscany wine country. Both wineries very informative and the tastings were great. The views during the bus ride were beautiful and our tour guide was both funny and knowledgeable.
Great tour! Two good wineries, really neat meat and cheese shop in Greve in Chianti. Our tour guide was very informative and fun. She talked about the culture, the land and the wine making process. Worth the money and the time. Both wineries will ship wine to the US and give you a variety of tastings.
Both of the winery visits were well worth the value-- the portions were generous, and the instructors very knowledgable. You don't have very much time in either of the towns, but they are both great scenic points. Our guide Donatella was very knowledgable and entertaining. In addition to the wines tasted, you also receive and learn about olive oils and balsamic vinegars-- some of the vinegars we tasted were the best I've ever had. Overall a beautiful day and well worth the price!
Beautiful countryside, just like a picture postcard even in February. Having a few glasses of wine along the way only enhanced the experience. We stopped at 2 wineries where we had tastings of cheese, vinegar and jam as well as wine. We also stopped in two small villages which were mostly deserted at this time of year.
Great experience. Accidentally bought my tour for the wrong day and it was no problem at all. The tour guide on our bus was so enjoyable and funny. The wine was great and you received a good amount of it! Would definitely recommend :

Amazing wine tour. Guide was very friendly and able to speak fluence english. Both wineries were unique, not feel redundant. Highly recommended.
Loved this tour! Highly recommended for a nice day trip sampling wines and snacks. We enjoying the free time exploring Greve in Chianti and Castellina. The drive through Chianti country was a sight! And the tour guide Barbara was very knowledable and friendly. Great tour :)
Having never been on a winery tour before, I really enjoyed this. The tour guide was very informative and helpful. I found both wineries to be unique in its own way, so I did not feel it was redundant. Also, appreciated that the wineries were also We also stopped and two other little villages which was an unexpected extra bonus.
Beautiful tour of two wineries in the Chianti region outside of the city of Florence. Each winery was unique, and offered plenty of selections of wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cheeses, and meats. The tour also stopped in two villages near the wineries which had such cute stores! My favorite part of my trip to Florence was most definitely this tour!!
Highly highly recommend this tour! It was a half day excursion visiting 2 wineries where we were given generous tastings of 5-7 different kinds of wine varietals with several cheese, olive oils and bread. Both wineries gave us a tour of their facilities with careful and in depth explanations of their wines. We also stopped at 2 different towns in the Chianti region which was a nice way to visit the local area and explore. Our guide was knowledgable and offered a fantastic history lesson on the bus ride up to the Chianti region. Definitely worth while and gained a more insightful view of the wine making process and its history.
so much fun, our guide was so funny and our group had the best time.

We loved our 1/2 day wine tour!
I would highly recommend this tour!
Would do it all over again!
Wonderful time! I just wish we had a little more time at the gift shop in the first vineyard!
