Donne une vue d'ensemble de la ville au début du séjour, et permet de descendre et remonter à notre choix pendant une période de 24 h à partir du premier embarquement.

This was a great way to get a good overview of the city. It took you to the most popular destinations and gave you a brief history. I hopped off at several locations to spend more time at them, and it was easy to catch the bus again after I was done. I would highly recommend this tour.

Make this the first thing you do after arriving in the city! At the end of the 80 minutes we really felt that we understood the city and its history: that we had a sense of where everything was that we had identified places to go back to for a longer look many of which were within walking distance of our Princes Street hotel.

Best way to get an overview of the city. 60 minute trip. Then you go back to your own hot spots. Guide is in multiple languages so all can enjoy and learn.

I LOVE doing the Hop On Hop Off tours in cities - to me, it is the best way to see a city Day 1, and then decide what you want to go back and see Day 2! This one did not disappoint... great sights, great option to get up the tricky hills to the castle, get off and walk the park, and just to see all that Edinburgh has to offer.

We did not have much time to spare after touring Edinburgh Castle, however this was a great way to make a loop around the city with audio on the bus to see the other historic sites of Edinburgh. Well worth the price even if you only use as we did to make a complete loop of the city.

We always use our first day in a new town to ride the Hop-On Hop Off Tour, and we did this in Edinburgh. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We got an a good view of the town, enhanced knowledge and a strong sense of what we wanted to return to see the next day.

I believe everyone should do the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour in the beginning of any City vacation. You will save a lot of time when you know what places are of interest to you. Sit close to the bus driver to ask additional questions if possible because they can give you even more information before you actually start your vacation. It always works for me/us

Audio narrative very easy to use. Music played while we were in transit between the stops. Bright, sunny day, so sitting on open-air roof was great!

Perfect way to get around the very big City of Edinburgh. We were on The Vision of the Seas for a 2 day stay, but booked this HOHO bus for one day, as we had ship tour on day two. FYI: The discount pricing begins with the 48 hour pass, but the 24 hour pass was absolutely great for us. We took the ship shuttle to the City, Close to Waveerly Station and easily found the HOHO redemption location on Waverly Bridge. It was about a 15 minute walk from our shuttle. We boarded at 1 and disembarked at 6, perfect for the Castle and Royal Mile. Boarded again 3.5 hours later and rode the HOHO through the rest of the route back to 1. We were going to get off At the Palace, but the Queen was in residence, so it was not accessible. This HOHO is very flexible. We saw more of the City than we would have and learned a lot from the audio. We also stayed dry and comfy, as it was showering. You can also combine this sticker with the green line and the blue line which does more than the City Center of this HOHO bus. The cost to add the others is very reasonable. Anytime we go to a new city we board the HOHO. Great orientation. Doing it through Viator, made it easy and we could pay in USD on line.

Good way to get an overview. Takes about an hour to do the full circuit. Better views from the top. Best photography either from the very front or the open-air section, as snapping from the side in sunlight had too much reflection from the windows. Better to go earlier or later in the day, as the buses can be packed in the middle of the day.

On a recent visit to Edinburgh we followed our usual approach in a new city by taking the Hop On/Off Bus to get a good overview of the city. On this tour, we had Thomas as a guide and he was amazing. His knowledge of Edinburgh and it's history was truly amazing. In fact, it was so good, we would have gone around again immediately if it had not been the end of his day. Thank you Thomas for making our first day in Edinburgh truly exceptional.

Buses ran regularly. Live guides did a great job. Could have waited to get there though. I don't think you need to buy this in advance.

Très utile pour faire un premier repérage de ville. Visite du château d'Edinburgh. Comme le billet est valable 24h, nous avons profité de l'utiliser le lendemain matin.
