Murano, Burano and Torcello Half Day Sightseeing Tour
Murano, Burano and Torcello Half Day Sightseeing Tour

Lovely tour! Venice, as mindbogglingly gorgeous as it is, was very crowded and it was nice to be able to escape to the outer islands for a calmer experience. Each island was unique, beautiful, and peaceful - especially Torcello. The guide provided interesting information on all of the islands and sites in multiple languages. We were so impressed with her and her ability to speak so many languages so beautifully. There was a decent amount of time to explore each island -- the perfect amount of time to decide which islands we'd like to return to. This tour is also a great opportunity to see Venice from the water's perspective, to appreciate just how big it is and to see the vast network of islands that that surround it.

nice tour, doesn't give you much time to tour Murano since the visit to the glass factory takes almost all your time.

DEFINITELY GO TO THIS TOUR..
OUR GUIDES WERE VERY ORGANIZED AND EXPLAINED AND INFORMED. SHE EXPLAINED THINGS WE WERE SEEING ALONG THE WAY AS WE WERE TRAVELING TO THE LITTLE ISLANDS.. AND INCLUDED HISTORY..
IT RAINED ON US THE DAY I WENT.. BUT I HAD MY UMBRELLA AND THE RAIN WAS ONLY OFF AND ON.. NOTHING TO LET DAMPEN YOUR VISIT..
THE SHOPS WERE SO QUAINT
MURANO WAS SO FASCINATING TO WATCH HOW THEY MAKE THE GLASS INTO SOMETHING SO BEAUTIFUL.. THE PRICES IN THE SHOP ARE VERY HIGH HOWEVER..
I WOULD WALK DOWN TO THE LITTLE SHOPS IN MURANO AND BUY SOMETHING FROM THEM.. IT IS THE SAME GLASS JUST MUCH CHEAPER... AND A LOT OF TIMES THE STUFF YOU SEE IN THE SHOPS ARE DESIGNED BY THEM WITH THE MURANO GLASS..
ALSO THE SHOPS IN VENICE THAT CARRY MURANO GLASS IS CHEAPER THERE TOO IF YOU DON'T BUY ANYTHING WHILE YOU ARE VISITING MURANO
BURANO WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE LACE AND THE KNIT WAS SO PRETTY.. THE SHOP KEEPERS WERE SO NICE..
TORCELLO WAS VERY QUAINT AND WE SAW A COUPLE THAT HAD JUST GOTTEN MARRIED HAVING PICTURES BEING TAKEN AT THE SMALL CHURCH.
NOW TO GO INSIDE THE OLD CHURCH IT COSTS 5 EURO'S BUT WORTH IT.. IT IS BREATHTAKING AND NOTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE..
IT WAS A GREAT TOUR AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED !!!!

Such a good trip.
Murano, Burano and Torcello are all so different and each so beautiful.
If you go in winter, I suggest a hot chocolate in Burano. I Still dream of that hot chocolate.

We enjoyed this tour of the 3 islands - while travelling from island to island our guide provided so much information not only on the islands we stopped at but on the sights we passed. It was a great way to enjoy a morning while in Venice. The free time on each island was just perfect!

Weather was really bad, rainy whole time, However, 3 islands were still beautiful and our guide was really friendly and enthusiastic. Glass blowing was interesting. I booked this trip to spend a half day until my train departs. After the tour, we were really happy that we were offered a boat ride to the train station. Otherwise, I had to walk to the train station in the rain. Our tour guide waited with us until we safely catch our last boat to the train station. Excellent value for money!!

Definitely fun to visit the other islands in Venice. Murano was cool because of the glass blowing. Burano was by far the most incredible in terms of town life and views. Torcello while small was very charming - no need to spend much time there except to take photos.

I truly enjoyed this trip way more than I ever thought I would. The first stop is in Murano - it was nice to see the way the glass blowing works. The shop they drop you off at gives a quick show then puts a bit of a push for you to tour their showroom. Be smart, just walk down the road a bit and you get similar stuff at a much better price.

Burano was the gem of the trip. I absolutely loved the lace stores, the canal, the homes... it was a 10/10. I wish we spent more time there.

By the time we got to Torcello we were pretty tired so we just went into town and had a lovely lunch.

By the end of the day, we were so happy and had such a great time that I couldn't recommend this tour high enough.
