Loire Castles and Wine Day Trip from Paris
Loire Castles and Wine Day Trip from Paris

These three sites were absolutely breathtaking. Chateaux de Chambord is by far the largest, and is said to be the inspiration for the castle in Beauty and the Beast. Whether that's true or not won't really matter once you get there first sight will take your breath away. Fer Ferret and Katrina were some of the best tour guides I had during my stay in Paris. Very, very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

The Chateaux tour was well worth doing. It was a long day out of Paris, but that's the only way to get there, right? Loved the tours and the vineyard.

The weather was terrible on the day of our tour... However, our guides Daniel and Claire made the day totally enjoyable with their incredible knowledge on the history and the castles we visited along with their sense of humour! The castles were incredibly beautiful especially the Chateaux Chenonceau! Lunch was also enjoyable at Chateau de Nitray. If you have one day to tour outside Paris, I highly recommend this one!

Nice day trip to beautiful chateaus. It was a treat to see the chateau that inspired the castle in Disney and #39;s Beauty and the Beast.

What an incredible time with Daniel the irish-man. I learned more in a day with him touring the Chateaux's of the Loire Valley then 4 years of French class and history. Truly an incredible trip and an amazing time. Highly recommend this tour and these guys. Absolutely one of the most amazing experiences ever. It is a long day 12 hours, but you get ample time and three different Chateaux's, a fabulous country lunch on a vineyard/real french country farm, and beautiful scenery. A must do!

This was a most delightful tour! Everything ran like clockwork, and our guide Adam was incredible. He was knowledgeable, funny, professional and helpful. We just spent ten days touring Europe and he was, by far, the best guide of all. I wish we could have had him for all our tours! Highly recommend him!

Loved this tour, although more time should be built in for visiting the sites and allowing us a visit to the gift shops! Our guides were terrific, knowledgeable and funny. Lunch and wine tasting were great, especially our host, who gave us a lovely tour of the winery.

Wonderful tour of the castles of the Loire Valley! Our tour guides Hugo and Kate were excellent and really helped describe the history of those involved with each castles. We really enjoyed the wine tasting lunch at Chateau Nitray and had enough time to explore all three places at our own pace. Highly recommend this tour - esp. if you can get guides like Hugo and Kate!

Excellent day! All transpired as promised. Nice introductory visit to these chateaux. The guides Hugo and Ferret were excellent - humorous, while informative. The visit to Chateau de Nitray for lunch and wine tasting was great fun - Hubert, the owner, is a kick. Everyone seemed to enjoy the day.

Awesome tour.
We had two groups on this tour so we had two tour guides, Claire and Ferret. Both were knowledgeable and very friendly. Claire was our guide and she knew the complete history of the area and all the towns and castles. The castles were amazing, countryside was beautiful and the hosts were great as well, very funny.
I would highly recommend this tour.

This was a great trip. We met the bus right across the street from a Metro stop in Paris and it left right on time at 7:30 AM. The drive to the country was pleasant, and our guide Carolina provided a lot of interesting information as we went. The guided tours of Chambord and Chenonceau were well done and enjoyable, and the wine tasting and lunch were also great. It was a very well done tour. The only problem we had was that we got stuck in massive traffic coming back into Paris after the tour. That part was frustrating, but not the fault of the tour company at all.

Great introduction to the Loire Valley and its chateaux in a well-organized tour! Daniel, our tour guide, was both knowledgeable and entertaining he added much to our understanding of each chateau and its relation to the history of France. The simple, but tasty and filling, lunch at a private chateau, and wine tastings both there and at Chenonceau which is especially lovely, really enhanced our outing. Highly recommend this trip!
