Our guide was just amazing. The weather could not have been better and the guide spoke with such enthusiasm. The only minor flaw is that contrary to the instructions there was no sign at the park where you check in and meet the guides. Luckily, we found other Americans who were there for the tour so that we knew we were in the right place. Throughly enjoyed the tour and the history. The boat tour later in the day was also interesting and seeing all of the grandeur of Venezia.
This was brilliant with a true Venetian walking tour guide who knew what you wanted to know and delivered the experience with clarity and humour. Having the earpiece system to hear every word she said in crowded places was clever and worked really well. The boat tour was also great though sometimes it was harder to hear the tour guide if you were stood up to see the sights more clearly, but it was our choice to stand up to take photos and just drink in the sights.
The tour was well worth the money. All aspects were educational. You learn so much more than just walking around yourselves. The boat tour on the Grand Canal gave us a different perspective of the Rialto Bridge and the overall Canal.
Missed th Venice in a day tour as we were late,, were not offered an alternative,, I did not have time even if they had. But went on the boat ride traversing through the islands of lido and passed along the grand canal , had a good view of the Rialto and could take good pics as we were in a small boat. Excellent trip.
The boat tour was very good-almost the entire Grand Canal and the outer lagoon on a boat taxi with just 8-9 people- good overall feel of the islands and the layout of the area- not just the pretty parts. The large group walking tour was fine- not exciting but the assigned boat tours was a bit chaotic. The boat tour times were randomly assigned so lots of people wanted to change boat time assignments. Since all the walking tour group could not be on a boat tour immediately after the end of the walking tour which was indicated that there could be hours between the walking tour and the boat tour, people had not been prepared for the time gap. People did not read the fine print on the tour details. But this is a worthwhile tour-skipping the line into St Mark's Basilica was great.
The boat tour of the Grand Canal is a must. Lots of good background information.
Freddy I'm not sure of how to spell her full name was a native of Venice and gave us an insightful and knowledgeable tour of the past and present lives of the people of Venice. St. Mark's Basilica was absolutely stunning, and navigating to the Rialto bridge was very interesting, as we made little stops along the way. Unfortunately, we had to catch a train and could not make the boat ride, but we did enjoy the day of Venice.
San Marco square is gorgeous. Our tour guide was terrific! Very knowledgeable! I would love to do this again!

It was a great day in Venice. The meeting place was easy to find. The guides spoke excellent English and knew Venice very well. The tour was laid back and there was a break in between the walking tour in the morning and the boat tour in the afternoon. We had enough time to rest and take our lunch. The morning tour was so great we felt so bad when it had to end. Our guide was amazing! The boat tour in the afternoon felt very intimate. It was just 7 people in the boat including the guide and captain of the boat. Venice is amazing during sunset. I definitely recommend this tour. Fantastic!
A great way to see Venice if you've never been before
Venice is so beautiful!!! This was a great way to see it all and get your bearings in a city where it's very easy to get lost!
Excellent tour where the tour guides explained the history of the place clearly.
Highly recommend. Very informative.
Marvellous experience, outstanding service.
I need to say a huge thank you to our tour guides, who were fantastic! Incredibly friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about the locations and history, and made a big effort with everyone.
The group was just the right size around 15 people for the walking tour, and 6 for the boat tour and the radio sets were a nice touch, allowing us to hear everything clearly and not lose contact. We didn't feel rushed at all, and everything was well organised and communicated.
A great experience - thank you!
Our guide was great , very knowledgeable of the local area and buildings explained in a very interesting way and could answer any questions on the walking tour, The Grand Canal boat trip part , took us around the back canals again with a guide and finished coming down the Grand Canal which was a really good end to the tour. I would recommend it if you haven't been before to get an insight into some of the areas of Venice -
Absolutely amazing tours (split into 2 separate tours). Both guides were friendly and really knowledgeable. So glad we booked this as we and #39;ve learned so much.
The boat tour was better than we and #39;d expected as we were in a private water taxi. Would totally recommend anyone visiting Venice to do this.
Very nice walk tour with an excellent, knowledgeable guide. We skipped the boart tour due to weather and that we had been using the water taxi frequently.
Tour was worth money as guides provided excellent information on sights. Grand canal tour was amazing and best way to see the Rialto bridge and buildings from the water. Highly recommend
Our guide Marco was absolutely fantastic - very entertaining and took us through the tour at a great pace. Covered every aspect of the history and buildings that we saw and had a great sense of humor. Would recommend this tour for sure.
Walking and boat ride tour guides were excellent and knowledgeable about interesting historical facts.
This was a great tour well organised, informative and fun!
A must do while in Venice.
The guides for both the walking tour and boat trip were great. The walking tour guide also gave us handy info on where to go to get the best views and it was free we would never have known about it otherwise. The guide on the boat trip was very entertaining. Took this tour on my birthday and wasn't disappointed, thanks for the great memories!
