The best way to get an impression of all the main sites in the centre of the city and to plan the rest of the stay. Our guide was very knowledgeable and didn't hurry us along but took the time to explain everything. We were lucky in that the meeting place on the Franz Josefs Kai was only two minutes from our hotel, but also the same from the nearest metro station.

We got so much more than just a recital of the buildings we were seeing. Our guide brought her life and background into the picture to give us a flavor of the history we were seeing.

Great tour! The experience you get as a tourist comes as much from the place itself, as from the tour guide. Vienna is simply spectacular. Our tour guide's insights were very enriching.

My girlfriend and I took this tour at the beginning of our first full day in Vienna in the hope that it would help familiarise ourselves with the city and give us some ideas of the hotspots to visit on our first visit to Austria...it definitely did not disappoint. Our guide, although we didn't manage to catch his name, was informative and very entertaining and we felt as if, after the 2.5 hours, we were well acquainted with the city, its history and its quirks and best qualities.

We would definitely highly recommend this tour as a way to get to know Vienna or maybe find out some historical and cultural information you maybe didn't already know.

A great walking tour with Natalie, our guide. Humorous, knowledgable, fun and full of interesting facts to make our visit to Vienna more interesting. Visited many of the attractions and locations that you might otherwise miss if doing your own thing. A must for all visitors.

Horst was an entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. The tour was an excellent overall introduction to Vienna's history, architecture, green space and café culture. The pace was brisk but leisurely enough to soak in the relevant facts about important monuments and other points of interests. Horst is truly proud of his city and interesting anecdotes were included during our tour hidden underground wine cellars for example. After two and a half hours of walking, hunger set in and Horst
recommended an excellent local restaurant away from the tourist trap! Highly recommend this tour and the guide.
