Choose from $25, $50, $100, $250, $300 and $500 dollar amounts that can be used on any train ticket, rail pass, or Rail Europe product. It’s a great way to treat someone to memorable rail journeys, inspiring culture, and incredible vistas in Europe.

Here’s what’s included :

  • Choose from $25, $50, $100, $250, $300 and $500 denominations
  • No expiration date
  • All gift cards can be used to book 1st or 2nd class products

Conditions :

The person you’re gifting won’t get an actual gift card. They will receive a PDF including their Rail Europe Gift Card code and will be asked to put this Gift Card code into their booking to apply their gift discount. It doesn’t have to be used all at once, and it has no expiration date.

Terms and Conditions

  • Redemption
    Gift cards (GCs) must be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products with Rail Europe, Inc. Purchases are deducted from the GC until the full balance is used. Once the full balance of the GC is used, the GC code is no longer active. If a booking exceeds the amount of the GC, the balance must be paid with a credit card or other available payment method.
  • Limitations
    Rail Europe, Inc. GCs ("GCs") may be used only to purchase eligible goods sold by Rail Europe, Inc. GCs may be purchased and used by residents of the USA and Canada excluding Quebec. GCs cannot be used to purchase other GCs, and excludes any shipping or handling fees, as well as hotels and any partners’ offers where payment is not processed on Rail Europe, Inc. websites. These excluded partner offers are found on Partner Offers. GCs cannot be reloaded, resold, redeemed for cash or transferred for value unless authorized by the purchaser.
  • Risk of Loss/Fraud
    The risk of loss for or fraudulent use of Rail Europe, Inc. GCs passes to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission either to the purchaser or GC recipient, whoever is the initial recipient as designated by the purchaser. Rail Europe, Inc. is not responsible if a GC is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without purchaser’s permission. Please treat these cards as cash.
  • Refunds
    Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. For any product that is purchased with a GC and then is returned for a refund consideration, that product’s standard refund rules, fees and/or regulations will apply. A new GC would be issued for the amount to be refunded less applicable fees. Refund terms may be found at Rail Policy.
  • Limitation of Liability
    RAIL EUROPE, INC. MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GCS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GC CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GC. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
  • Disputes
    Any dispute relating in any way to Rail Europe, Inc. GCs shall be adjudicated in any federal or state court in New York, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
  • General Terms
    Rail Europe, Inc. GCs are issued by Rail Europe, Inc. When you purchase, receive or redeem a Rail Europe, Inc. GC, you agree that the laws of the State of New York, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these GC terms and conditions. Rail Europe, Inc. reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in its discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
