Overview

Scandinavia offers stunning scenery that you can enjoy with the Eurail Scandinavia Pass. It gives you extensive travel on the national rail networks of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, with your choice of 3, 4, 5, & 8 days of rail travel within a one-month period. This pass offers Youth discounts and saver pass discounts for 2 or more traveling together. You can also decide whether you’d prefer those travel days to be consecutive or non-consecutive.

How lucky can a traveler be ? You are in some of the most beautiful places on the planet. The countries where storybooks are written and fairy-tale endings are recorded for posterity. Why spend a moment of it in an airport or gas station ? Or fumbling with currency and conversion rates at ticket counters ? Especially when trains in Scandinavia, which includes Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden, are so inviting and efficient. Moreover, your Eurail Scandinavia Pass doesn’t just open the doors to Scandinavian rail wherever you want to go, but other travel discounts in the region, including ferries and popular attractions.

2. Reserve your seats

Reserve your seats

Traveling on local and regional trains provides you with an opportunity to freely explore. It’s easy to get on a train with your rail pass and find an open seat to enjoy the journey in. Seat reservations are required on many high speed, overnight, scenic, and international trains. Using a Eurail Scandinavia Pass you may travel on SJ high speed trains, and trains between Oslo and Bergin, Myrdal or Voss which require additional seat reservations. It’s always a good idea to research the journey you are interested in and check for any specific seat reservation requirements.

3. Activate and travel

Activate and travel

Your rail pass requires that you activate it by getting it stamped at the ticket window at the departure station on the day of your first train journey. Once activated, you are all set and ready to explore.
