This Milan train station was originally built in 1864 and is centrally located; not far away from many of Milan’s popular sites. In addition, the station is a great destination for high end designer shopping, which Milan is synonymous with.
Como Train Stations
After your train ride you arrive at the train station ready to explore! Upon arrival, depending on where you're staying, it's usually not more than a 10-15 minute walk to get to your hotel/hostel as many train stations in Europe are located right in the city center. Plus, arriving in the city center means you're nearby many of the local tourist sights & activities. If you have any questions when you arrive at the station, you will generally find an information booth staffed with English-speaking personnel ready to assist you. Restrooms are usually available at the station, however, be advised that some stations charge a small fee to use the facilities (always a good idea to keep some change in your pocket, just in case!). If you're meeting up with other travelers at the station, you will typically find arrival boards displaying incoming trains with the track/platform numbers and any special notes about the service.
