Overview

Thello Day trains

Now you don’t have to wait for overnight trains to travel at high-speed between the French Riviera and Northern Italy. New international direct day connections are now available on the Thello. Using Trenitalia’s Frecciabianca fleet, you can now whisk in your choice of 1st or 2nd class between Milan, Genoa, Savona, Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Toulon and Marseille.

All in the comfort of air-conditioned coaches, generous space for luggage, and available on-board refreshments. As usual, there’s no worrying about gas prices, getting lost, or keeping your eyes on the road instead of the spectacular vistas of France and Italy you came to visit. Plus, these routes are some of Europe’s most popular, and you won’t want to waste a minute. You’ll leave one town center and arrive in another, ready to sightsee. Discounted fares are available.

New service. New time of day. New reasons to pack those bags and get going.

Practical information

Please plan to arrive at the train station at least 15 minutes prior to your train’s departure time. This will allow you time to locate the train departure board and find what track your train will be departing from, and board the train. Train doors close 2 minutes prior to scheduled departure time, after which, you will not be able to board. You do not need to check-in prior to boarding a Thello train, however, be sure to have your travel documents with you at all times. Be advised that passholder fares are not offered on Thello trains to those holding a rail pass.

Paper ticket

Receive your ticket directly to your address. Just take them with you and you are ready to travel. Shipping fees apply.
